For the BBQ Ribs

Method

For the BBQ Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season both sides with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover tightly with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  3. 3

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over both sides of the ribs.

  4. 4

    Grill the Ribs

Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the sauced ribs on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sauce is caramelized and slightly charred.

For the Coleslaw

  1. 5

    Mix the Dressing

In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  2. 6

    Combine Coleslaw Ingredients

Add the shredded cabbage and carrots to the dressing and mix well until all the vegetables are evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Chill the Coleslaw

Cover the coleslaw and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
