1. Mixing the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine minced beef, minced lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, cumin powder, and paprika. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
2. Shaping the Kofte
Take a portion of the meat mixture and shape it into oval patties, about 2 inches long and 1 inch thick. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
3. Prepping for Grilling
Brush the shaped koftes with olive oil on both sides to prevent sticking to the grill.
4. Grilling the Koftes
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the koftes for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
5. Serving
Remove the koftes from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with pita bread, yogurt, and fresh salad.
