Measure Coffee Beans
Using a coffee scale or measuring cup, measure out 0.5 cups of medium plus roast coffee beans from Mexico and 0.5 cups of medium plus roast coffee beans from Sumatra.

Grind Coffee Beans
Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency, similar to sand. This will ensure proper extraction during brewing.
Brewing

Prepare Coffee Maker
Fill the coffee maker's reservoir with 4 cups of filtered water.

Add Coffee Grounds
Place a coffee filter in the basket of the coffee maker and add the ground coffee mixture (1 cup total) to the filter.

Start Brewing Process
Turn on the coffee maker and allow it to brew. The hot water will drip through the coffee grounds, extracting flavors and aromas.
