Method

Cranberry Juice

  1. 1

    Prepare Cranberries

Rinse the fresh cranberries under cold water to remove any dirt or debris.

  2. 2

    Cook Cranberries

In a large pot, combine the rinsed cranberries and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries burst.

  3. 3

    Strain the Juice

Remove the pot from heat and let it cool slightly. Use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to strain the juice into a bowl or pitcher, discarding the solids.

  4. 4

    Sweeten the Juice

Add sugar and lemon juice to the strained juice. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  5. 5

    Chill and Serve

Refrigerate the cranberry juice for at least an hour before serving. Serve chilled, over ice if desired.

Pineapple Juice

  1. 6

    Prepare Pineapple

Cut the fresh pineapple into quarters and remove the core. Cut the fruit into smaller chunks for easier blending.

  2. 7

    Blend Pineapple

In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks with 2 cups of water. Blend until smooth and liquefied.

  3. 8

    Strain the Juice

Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl or pitcher, discarding the pulp.

  4. 9

    Sweeten the Juice

Add sugar and lime juice to the strained pineapple juice. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  5. 10

    Chill and Serve

Refrigerate the pineapple juice for at least an hour before serving. Serve chilled, over ice if desired.
