Chill the Glass
Start by chilling a highball glass by filling it with ice water. Let it sit for a few minutes while you prepare the drink.

Discard the ice water from the glass and fill it with fresh ice cubes, about one cup or enough to fill the glass halfway.

Pour Dewar's
Measure 2 ounces of Dewar's White Label Scotch Whisky using a jigger and pour it over the ice in the glass.

Pour 4 ounces of ginger ale over the whisky, allowing it to mix gently with the scotch.
