Prep the Vegetables
Wash and peel the carrot and sweet potato. Cut all vegetables (zucchini, carrot, sweet potato, and bell pepper) into thin fries, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

Prepare the Tempura Batter
In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and baking powder. Gradually add cold water while stirring until the batter is smooth. Add a few ice cubes to keep the batter cool.

Coat and Fry Vegetables
Dip each vegetable fry into the tempura batter, allowing excess batter to drip off. Carefully place them into the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove and drain on paper towels.

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle them with salt, black pepper, and paprika to taste.
