Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are fine.

Preheat Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Cook Waffles
Pour an appropriate amount of batter into the preheated waffle iron. Close the lid and cook until golden brown, usually about 4-5 minutes. Remove the waffle carefully.
Serving

Plate the Waffles
Place the cooked waffles on a plate. Top with a dollop of butter and drizzle with warm maple syrup.

Finish by adding a generous amount of whipped cream on top of the waffles.
