Fries

Method

Fries Preparation

  1. 1

    Cut and Soak Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick). Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 2

    Dry and Fry Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper immediately.

Toppings Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook Wagyu Steak

Season the wagyu steak with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.

  2. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add sliced onion, mushrooms, and sweet bell peppers. Season with garlic powder and paprika. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized.

  3. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On a serving platter, layer the crispy fries, top them with sautéed vegetables, and then add the sliced wagyu steak. Finish by placing slices of white American cheese on top.

  4. 6

    Melt Cheese

Place the assembled fries under a broiler for 1-2 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve immediately.
