Method
Preparing the Mimosa
- 1
Chill the Ingredients
Place the bottle of champagne or sparkling wine and the fresh orange juice in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
- 2
Mix the Juices
If you are using any additional flavor options, mix the fresh orange juice with your chosen juice or puree in a pitcher. For example, if using pineapple juice, combine 2 cups of orange juice with 1 cup of pineapple juice.
- 3
Pour the Mixture
Once the ingredients are chilled, pour the juice mixture into champagne flutes, filling each glass about halfway.
- 4
Add Champagne
Slowly top off each glass with champagne or sparkling wine. Pour gently to avoid excessive foaming.
- 5
Garnish (Optional)
If desired, garnish each mimosa with fresh berries, fruit slices, or mint leaves for an extra touch of flavor and presentation.
