Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water (1 cup each) over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Seasonal Fruit

Wash and chop the seasonal fruits into small pieces. If using strawberries, hull and slice them; for peaches, pit and dice them; for blackberries, simply rinse them.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 3

Combine Lemon Juice and Simple Syrup

In a large pitcher, combine 1 cup of fresh lemon juice with 1 cup of simple syrup. Stir well to mix.

  2. 4

    Add Seasonal Fruit

Add the prepared seasonal fruit to the pitcher and gently muddle to release the flavors without completely crushing the fruit.

  3. 5

    Add Soda Water

Pour in 2 cups of soda water and stir gently to combine all ingredients without losing the fizz.

Serving

  1. 6

    Prepare the Glasses

Fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour the mixed drink over the ice, making sure to include some of the muddled fruit pieces.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon. Serve immediately and enjoy!
