Fries

Method

Preparation of Fries

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries.

  2. 2

    Prepare Fries

Spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle with vegetable oil, sprinkle salt and garlic powder over the fries, and toss to coat evenly.

  3. 3

    Bake Fries

Bake the fries in the preheated oven for the time indicated on the package or until golden and crispy, usually about 20-25 minutes.

Preparation of Toppings

  1. 4

    Heat Skillet

While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil if needed.

  2. 5

    Cook Steak

Season the ribeye steak with black pepper and Worcestershire sauce, then add it to the hot skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Remove from pan and let rest before slicing thinly.

  3. 6

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the sliced onions, mushrooms, and sweet bell peppers. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Assembling Cheesesteak Fries

  1. 7

    Arrange Fries

Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and arrange them on a serving platter.

  2. 8

    Add Toppings

Top the fries with the sliced ribeye steak, sautéed vegetables, and then sprinkle the white American cheese over the top.

  3. 9

    Melt Cheese

Return the platter to the oven for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  4. 10

    Garnish

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
