Brownie Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, combine the melted butter, stout beer, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. 5

    Bake the Brownies

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.

  6. 6

    Cool and Serve

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm with chocolate sauce and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
