Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- 3
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the cherry tomatoes and capers, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Add Spinach and Cream
Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 5
Combine Chicken and Sauce
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat through.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Chicken Florentine warm, garnished with additional spinach or tomatoes if desired.
