Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Beef and Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then season with salt and pepper. In another skillet, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy. Once done, chop the bacon into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Jalapenos

Slice jalapenos into rings. In a small pan, heat some oil and fry the jalapeno rings until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels to drain.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  4. 4

    Assemble the Pizza

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread the salsa roja evenly over the dough. Layer the cooked ground beef, chopped bacon, and shredded cheese on top. Finally, add the fried jalapenos.

  5. 5

    Bake the Pizza

Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
