Preparation of Chicken
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Breasts
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take the chicken breasts and gently pound them to an even thickness using a meat mallet. This will help them cook evenly.
- 2
Stuff the Chicken
Place 2 slices of Swiss cheese and 2 slices of Canadian bacon on one side of each chicken breast. Fold the other side over to enclose the filling.
- 3
Secure the Chicken
Use toothpicks or kitchen twine to secure the edges of the chicken breasts. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cooking the Chicken
- 4
Bake the Chicken
In a baking dish, arrange the stuffed chicken breasts and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear.
- 5
Prepare Hollandaise Sauce
While the chicken is baking, prepare the Hollandaise sauce according to package instructions or your preferred recipe.
Cooking the Noodles
- 6
Preparing the Salad and Dinner Rolls
- 7
Prepare the Salad
In a large bowl, combine mixed salad greens, cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber. Toss gently to mix. Serve with your choice of salad dressings.
- 8
Prepare Dinner Rolls
Warm the dinner rolls in the oven for the last 10 minutes of the chicken's baking time. Serve with butter.
Plating & Serving
- 9
Plate the Dish
Once the chicken is cooked, take it out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken and serve over a bed of cooked egg noodles, drizzled with Hollandaise sauce.
- 10
Serve with Sides
Serve with a side of garden salad, dinner rolls with butter, and your choice of dessert. Offer coffee, tea, and lemonade as beverages.
