Method

Pork Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika evenly. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Pour the BBQ sauce over the pork, ensuring it's well coated. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

  3. 3

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the remaining BBQ sauce. Keep warm until ready to serve.

Sliders Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sliders

Slice the slider buns in half and lightly toast them if desired. Place a generous amount of the BBQ pulled pork on the bottom half of each bun.

  2. 5

    Add Toppings

Top the pulled pork with a few pickle chips and a slice of red onion. Place the top half of the bun on each slider.

  3. 6

    Serve

Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve warm with extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
