Sandwiches

Prepare Cucumber Sandwiches
Thinly slice the cucumber and set aside.

Mix Cream Cheese
In a bowl, combine cream cheese and lemon juice. Stir until smooth and set aside.

Assemble Sandwiches
Spread the cream cheese mixture on whole grain bread. Add cucumber slices on top and close with another slice of bread. Cut into quarters.

Prepare Smoked Salmon Sandwiches
Mix capers with cream cheese and spread on white bread. Layer smoked salmon and top with another slice. Cut into quarters.

Prepare Egg Mayonnaise Sandwiches
Boil the eggs for 10 minutes, cool, and peel. Mash the eggs with mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Spread on white bread and cut into quarters.

Preheat Oven
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in milk and heavy cream until just combined.

Shape and Bake
Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead lightly, and cut into rounds. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
