Preparation of Paneer

Cutting Paneer
Cut the paneer into bite-sized cubes, approximately 1-inch pieces.
Batter Preparation

Mixing Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, garam masala, salt, and ajwain. Mix well.

Adding Water
Gradually add water to the dry mixture while whisking to form a smooth batter. The batter should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
Frying Pakoras

Heating Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat until hot.

Coating Paneer
Dip each paneer cube into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.

Frying
Carefully place the coated paneer cubes into the hot oil. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.

Draining Oil
Using a slotted spoon, remove the pakoras from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serving

Serve hot Paneer Pakoras with mint chutney or tamarind chutney for dipping.
