Method
Cooking Pasta
- 1
Boil the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing Shrimp and Sauce
- 2
Sauté Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- 3
Add Shrimp and Tomatoes
Add the jumbo shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and stir well.
- 4
Deglaze with Wine
Pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Increase the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the alcohol to evaporate and the flavors to meld.
- 5
Add Spinach
Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combining Ingredients
- 6
Toss with Pasta
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the shrimp and sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated.
Making Garlic Crostini
- 7
Prepare Crostini
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Bake for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- 8
Add Garlic Flavor
Remove the crostini from the oven and rub the cut side of the halved garlic cloves over the warm bread for flavor.
