Alfredo Sauce

Fettuccine

Garlic Crostini

Method

Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Season the salmon fillets with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Salmon

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Alfredo Sauce

  1. 3

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet used for the salmon, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Add Cream and Cheese

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add nutmeg, salt, and black pepper to taste.

Fettuccine

  1. 5

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and the fettuccine pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve some pasta water.

  2. 6

    Combine with Sauce

Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing gently to combine. If needed, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

Garlic Crostini

  1. 7

    Prepare the Crostini

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.

  2. 8

    Bake the Crostini

Brush the olive oil mixture over the baguette slices. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
