Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks and pat them dry with a paper towel. Rub each steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and rosemary on both sides.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, approximately 450°F (232°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steaks

Once the grill is hot, place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare. Adjust time based on desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into quarters. Place them in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until tender.

  2. 6

    Drain and Mash

Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them and return to the pot. Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or fork until smooth.

  3. 7

    Add Ingredients

Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix until well combined and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
