Method

Fermentation Process

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the filtered water and pure cane sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. 2

    Add Yeast

Sprinkle the yeast over the mixture and gently stir to combine. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to activate the yeast.

  3. 3

    Ferment

Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let it sit in a warm, dark place for 5-7 days to ferment. Check daily for bubbles, which indicates fermentation.

Final Preparation

  1. 4

    Add Natural Flavors

Once fermentation is complete, stir in the natural flavors and lemon juice. Mix well.

  2. 5

    Carbonate

Siphon the mixture into a clean bottle, leaving some space at the top. Add sparkling water to achieve your desired fizziness.

  3. 6

    Serve

Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the hard seltzer over. Serve chilled.
