Prepare the Shrimp

Boil the Shrimp
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and stir to dissolve.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Ice Bath
Immediately transfer the cooked shrimp to a bowl filled with ice and cold water to stop the cooking process. Let them chill for about 5 minutes.

Drain the Shrimp
Once chilled, drain the shrimp and set aside.
Make the Cocktail Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, and 1 teaspoon of salt.

Mix Well
Stir until all ingredients are well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve

Plate the Shrimp
Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter.

Add Cocktail Sauce
Serve with the cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.

Garnish
Add lemon wedges around the shrimp for garnish and extra flavor.
