Salad Preparation

Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Shake off excess water or use a salad spinner. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Add Croutons and Parmesan
Add the croutons and 0.5 cup of shaved or grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl with the romaine lettuce.
Dressing Preparation

Make the Caesar Dressing
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy paste, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Add Cheese to Dressing
Stir in 0.25 cup of grated Parmesan cheese into the dressing mixture.
Combine Salad and Dressing

Toss the Salad
Pour the Caesar dressing over the romaine lettuce, croutons, and Parmesan cheese in the salad bowl. Toss gently until all the ingredients are evenly coated with the dressing.

Serve immediately, garnishing with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
