Shrimp Preparation

    Boil Water

    In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt.

    Cook Shrimp

    Once the water is boiling, add the fresh shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque.

    Chill Shrimp

    Remove the shrimp from the pot and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.

    Drain and Chill

    Once chilled, drain the shrimp and set them aside in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Cocktail Sauce Preparation

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

    In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.

    Adjust for Taste

    Stir the mixture until well combined. Adjust the hot sauce to your desired spice level.

    Chill Sauce

    Refrigerate the cocktail sauce until ready to serve.

Serving

    Plate Shrimp

    Serve the chilled shrimp on a platter with the cocktail sauce in a bowl on the side.
