Main Ingredients

Homemade Garlic Bread

Method

Calabresa Preparation

  1. 1

    Slice the Sausage

Begin by slicing the calabresa sausage into thin rounds. This will help it cook evenly and allow the flavors to develop.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Onions

In a large skillet, add a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent, about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Sausage

Add the sliced calabresa sausage to the skillet with the onions. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sausage is browned and cooked through.

Garlic Bread Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, soften the butter at room temperature. Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the butter, along with finely chopped parsley and salt to taste. Mix well until combined.

  2. 5

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture generously on both halves.

  3. 6

    Bake the Bread

Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
