Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs for better flavor absorption. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs. Wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
