Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Porcini Glaze

Soak the dried porcini mushrooms in 250 ml of hot water for about 20 minutes until soft. Drain and reserve the soaking liquid. Finely chop the porcini mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems if necessary. Place them in a bowl.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix the chopped porcini, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Pour this mixture over the mushrooms and toss to coat evenly.

  4. 4

    Roast the Mushrooms

Spread the mushrooms evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until they start to brown.

  5. 5

    Prepare Breadcrumb Topping

In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley.

  6. 6

    Add Breadcrumbs

Remove the mushrooms from the oven, sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over them, and return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm as a delicious appetizer or side dish.
