Preparation of Prawns

Add the prawns to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the Batter
In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt together.

Gradually add cold water until the batter reaches a pourable consistency. It should be thick but not too runny.

Fry the Prawns
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Dip each marinated prawn into the batter and carefully place it in the hot oil.

Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cook the Prawns
Add the marinated prawns and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
