Burger Patty Preparation

Prepare the Meat
In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef with 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black pepper, and 1 tsp of garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

Form the Patties
Divide the beef mixture into three equal portions (about 1/3 pound each) and shape them into round patties, making a slight indent in the center of each patty.

Add Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of your choice of cheese on top of each patty and cover to allow the cheese to melt.

Prepare the Fries
While the burgers are cooking, prepare the fries according to the package instructions, typically by baking or frying until golden brown.

Season the Fries
Once cooked, remove the fries from the oven or fryer and season them with salt to taste.
Burger Assembly

Assemble the Burger
Toast the burger buns lightly if desired. Place a cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Top with slices of pickles, tomato, lettuce, and onion. Cover with the top half of the bun.
