Method

Preparing the Sirloin

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub both sides of the top sirloin steak with salt and black pepper. Allow the steak to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to enhance flavor.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Lobster

  1. 3

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 4

    Prepare the Lobster

Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster tail shell lengthwise to expose the meat. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell.

  3. 5

    Season the Lobster

Drizzle lemon juice over the lobster meat and sprinkle with minced garlic.

  4. 6

    Bake the Lobster

Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  5. 7

    Prepare the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, keep warm until ready to serve.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plating the Dish

Slice the rested sirloin steak and place it on a serving plate alongside the baked lobster tail. Drizzle the melted butter over the lobster.

  2. 9

    Garnish

Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the dish and add lemon wedges on the side for extra flavor.
