Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Seasoning the Steak

Rub the sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on all sides.

  2. 2

    Grilling the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Place the seasoned steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

Preparing the Wedge Salad

  1. 3

    Cooking the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble into pieces.

  2. 4

    Chopping the Veggies

While the bacon cooks, chop the red onion and halve the cherry tomatoes. Mince the garlic clove.

  3. 5

    Assembling the Salad

Cut the iceberg lettuce into quarters and place one quarter on each plate. Drizzle blue cheese dressing over the lettuce. Top with crumbled bacon, chopped red onion, halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, and blue cheese crumbles.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plating the Dish

Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve alongside the wedge salad. Enjoy your delicious steak wedge!
