Preparing Pasta
- 1
Cook Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- 2
Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside, reserving a cup of the pasta water.
Cooking Seafood
- 3
Sauté Shrimp and Scallops
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the shrimp and scallops, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they are opaque and cooked through. Remove seafood from skillet and set aside.
Making Sauce

Prepare Garlic Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until reduced by half.
- 5
Add Cream and Cheese
Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Prepare Marinated Tomatoes
In a bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes, olive oil, chopped basil, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently to coat.
