Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions (about 1/3 pound each) and gently form them into burger patties.

Cook the Toppings

  1. 3

    Cook Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

  2. 4

    Cook Hash Browns

In the same skillet, add the frozen hash browns and cook according to package instructions until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.

  3. 5

    Fry the Egg

In the skillet, crack the egg and fry until the white is set and the yolk is still runny, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.

Cook the Burger

  1. 6

    Grill the Patty

In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  2. 7

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Make the Sauce

  1. 8

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, hot sauce, and pepper. Mix until smooth.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 9

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each burger bun, place the burger patty with melted cheese. Top with crispy bacon, cooked hash browns, and the fried egg. Drizzle with the creamy pepper sauce and add the top half of the bun.
