Main Ingredients

Method

Prepare the Protein

  1. 1

    Cook the Chicken

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced chicken until no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ground Beef

In a separate skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat and season with taco seasoning if desired.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

In a grill pan or skillet, cook the sliced steak over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Let it rest before slicing.

  4. 4

    Cook the Fish

In a skillet, cook the fish fillets over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side until flaky and cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, and lime juice.

Prepare the Sides

  1. 5

    Cook the Rice

Rinse the uncooked rice under cold water. In a pot, add 2 cups of water for every cup of rice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until water is absorbed.

  2. 6

    Heat the Beans

Open the can of black beans and pour into a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until warmed through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Tacos

  1. 7

    Fill the Tortillas

Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side. Fill each tortilla with your choice of protein, lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and chopped green onions.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve the tacos hot with a side of rice and beans. Enjoy your Taco Time!
