Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine or linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Seafood Preparation

  1. 2

    Sauté the Seafood

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallots, sautéing until fragrant (about 2 minutes).

  2. 3

    Add the Seafood

Add the crab meat, shrimp, and scallops to the skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until the shrimp turns pink and the scallops are opaque.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Deglaze with White Wine

Pour in the white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits. Allow the wine to simmer for about 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

  2. 5

    Add Lemon Juice and Cream

Stir in the lemon juice and heavy cream. Season with salt and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens slightly.

  3. 6

    Finish the Sauce

Add the chopped fresh parsley to the sauce, stirring to combine. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Combine and Serve

Place a bed of cooked pasta on each plate. Spoon the seafood mixture along with the sauce over the pasta. Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve immediately.
