Salmon Fillet

Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Sprinkle the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides to season them evenly.

  2. 2

    Heat the Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Making the Panko Crust

  1. 4

    Prepare the Panko Mixture

In a bowl, mix together the panko breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and chopped parsley until well combined.

  2. 5

    Coat the Salmon

Once the salmon is grilled, remove it from the grill and immediately press the panko mixture onto the top of each fillet to create an even crust.

Making the Caper Cream Sauce

  1. 6

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a bowl, mix together sour cream, chopped capers, lemon juice, and dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Salmon

Place the grilled salmon fillets on plates and top with a generous spoonful of caper cream sauce before serving.
