Prepare Tea

Boil the Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Steep the Tea
Remove the saucepan from heat and add 4 black tea bags to the boiling water. Allow it to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the saucepan and discard them.
Sweeten and Flavor

Add Sugar
While the tea is still warm, stir in 1 cup of sugar until it fully dissolves.

Add Lemon Juice
Pour in 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and mix well to combine.
Chill and Serve

Cool the Tea
Allow the sweetened tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled.

Serve Over Ice
In a glass, place 1 cup of ice cubes. Pour the chilled tea over the ice.

Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for added flavor and presentation.
