Preparing the Wings

Clean and Season the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss the wings in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.

Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or a deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer to monitor the temperature.

Fry the Wings
Carefully add the seasoned wings to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry the wings for about 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove them and drain on paper towels.

Toss the Wings
In a large bowl, add the fried wings and pour the prepared sauce over them. Toss the wings in the sauce until they are evenly coated.

Transfer the wings to a serving platter and enjoy them hot. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing, if desired.
