Preparation of Chicken
- 1
Grilling or Frying the Chicken
If you choose grilled chicken, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Grill for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). If you prefer crispy chicken, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, then coat the chicken with flour and fry until golden brown and cooked through.
- 2
Resting and Slicing Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the heat source and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then slice the chicken into strips.
Salad Assembly
- 3
Preparing the Salad Base
In a large bowl, chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and add it to the bowl.
- 4
Adding Vegetables and Dressing
Halve the cherry tomatoes and thinly slice the red onion. Add both to the bowl with the lettuce. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss until the lettuce and vegetables are well coated.
- 5
Incorporating Chicken
Add the sliced chicken breast on top of the salad mixture.
- 6
Final Touches
Sprinkle croutons and parmesan cheese over the salad. Season with additional salt and black pepper if desired.
