Cut the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.

In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Bread the Chicken
Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then coat it in the flour mixture. Ensure all sides are well coated.
Frying

In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Carefully place the breaded chicken pieces into the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
