Preparation of Wings
- 1
Prep the Wings
Rinse the bone-in chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to remove any excess moisture.

Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and baking powder. Add the wings to the bowl and toss them until evenly coated with the spice mixture.
Frying the Wings
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large, deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C) over medium-high heat. Use a deep-fry thermometer to monitor the temperature.
- 4
Preparing the Sauce
- 5
Make the Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, honey, and vinegar. Mix well until the sauce is heated through and combined.
