Prepare the Beef
Take the beef tenderloin out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

Season the Beef
Rub the beef tenderloin with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Make sure to coat all sides evenly.
- 3
Sear the Beef
In a large skillet, heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the tenderloin and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.

Add Aromatics
Add the garlic cloves and fresh rosemary to the skillet. Spoon the melted butter over the beef while cooking for added flavor.

Reduce the heat to medium and cook, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 130°F for medium-rare (about 15-20 minutes).
