Method
Fries
- 1
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thick, crinkle-cut fries using a crinkle cutter.
- 2
Soak the Fries
Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, which helps them become crispy when fried.
- 3
Dry the Fries
After soaking, drain the fries and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (180°C).
- 5
Fry the Fries
Carefully add the fries in batches to the hot oil and fry for about 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and paprika to taste.
Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
- 7
Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise. Stir until smooth and well combined.
Uncommon Sauce
- 8
Prepare the Sauce
In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until well combined.
Ranch Dipping Sauce
- 9
Combine Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together buttermilk, mayonnaise, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Spicy Ketchup
- 10
Spice Up the Ketchup
In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, hot sauce, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
