Main Ingredients

Marinade

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillet in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it is well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill. Close the lid and grill for 6-8 minutes. Flip the salmon and grill for another 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.

  3. 5

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve warm, garnished with fresh dill if desired.
