Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pickles

Pat the dill pickle spears dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  2. 2

    Wrap with Cheese

Take a slice of Havarti cheese and wrap it around each dill pickle spear, ensuring it's fully covered.

  3. 3

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and bread crumbs in the third.

  4. 4

    Bread the Cheese-Wrapped Pickles

Dip each wrapped pickle spear first in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with bread crumbs. Make sure they are well-coated.

  5. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F or 175°C).

  6. 6

    Fry the Pickles

Carefully add the breaded pickle spears to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  7. 7

    Drain and Season

Remove the fried pickles from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  8. 8

    Serve

Serve the fried cheesy pickles hot with a side of Sriracha sauce for dipping.
