Method

Preparation

1

Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 liter of Cointreau with 500 ml of water. Stir gently to mix.

2

Add Sugar

Slowly add 300 grams of sugar to the mixture, stirring continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved.

3

Incorporate Zests

Add 2 tablespoons of orange zest and 1 tablespoon of lemon zest to the mixture, stirring well to incorporate all flavors.

4

Add Neutral Spirit

Pour in 500 ml of neutral spirit (such as vodka) into the mixture, stirring gently to combine all the ingredients thoroughly.

5

Bottle and Age

Transfer the mixture into clean, sterilized bottles. Seal tightly and allow the Cointreau to age in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks, preferably longer for enhanced flavor.
