Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Coat the Wings
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the chicken wings in this mixture until they are evenly coated.
- 3
Fry the Wings
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the wings in batches for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Make the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the buffalo sauce and stir until well combined. Remove from heat.
- 5
Toss the Wings
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crispy wings with the buffalo sauce. Toss until all the wings are well coated with the sauce.
- 6
Serve
Serve the wings hot with your choice of dipping sauce and celery sticks.
