Method

Cooking the Beef

  1. 1

    Prepare the Angus Beef

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the Angus beef patties with salt and pepper to taste. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, wash and chop the tomato, cucumber, and red onion. Set aside.

  2. 3

    Prepare the Spring Mix

In a large salad bowl, add the spring mix greens as the base for your salad.

  3. 4

    Add Roasted Corn

If using canned corn, drain it well. If using fresh, roast the corn on the grill or in a skillet until slightly charred, then cut the kernels off the cob and add to the bowl.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 5

    Combine the Ingredients

Once the beef patties are cooked and the cheese is melted, slice the patties into strips. Add the sliced patties on top of the spring mix along with chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and roasted corn.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Sprinkle the shredded potato strings over the top of the salad for added crunch.

  3. 7

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the dill ranch dressing over the entire salad and toss gently to combine all ingredients.
