Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Garlic

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Set aside.

2

Boil the Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil over medium-high heat. Add salt and olive oil to the boiling water.

3

Add Couscous

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and stir in 1 cup of couscous. Cover the saucepan with a lid and let it sit for about 5 minutes to allow the couscous to absorb the water.

4

Fluff the Couscous

After 5 minutes, remove the lid and fluff the couscous gently with a fork.

5

Add Garlic and Parmesan

In a small skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.

6

Combine and Season

Pour the garlic and Parmesan mixture over the fluffed couscous. Add black pepper and mix well. Adjust seasoning to taste.

7

Garnish and Serve

Chop the fresh parsley and sprinkle it over the couscous. Serve warm as a side dish.
